Investigation of the Vibration Transmission Characteristics of the Aero-Engine Casing System by Rotating Force Exciter

This work aims to study the dynamic characteristics of an entire aero-engine casing by experiments using a new type rotating exciter. New vibration sensor layout rules are proposed according experimental results and transmission characteristics. The response is carried out, different measuring points also studied. finite element model engine casing’s structure established obtain natural frequency whole casing, which agrees well with measurement. We find that acceleration value radial point bearing No. 1, but not fan sensor, more suitable for detecting running state rotor. In addition, in intermediate can detect high-pressure Bolt loosening flange has little effect on casing. provide data exciter test, help optimize location transducer assembly technology design structure.
